RUTH RODRÍGUEZ ASCACÍBAR
Ascacíbar has a degree in Agricultural Engineering and Oenology from the University of La Rioja. At the end of her studies she decided to opt for international experience, making wine in several countries such as Chile, Italy and New Zealand.
Upon his return, he worked in emblematic wineries such as Marqués de Cáceres or Dos Victorias, where he produced the wines Elías Mora (DO Toro) and José Pariente (DO Rueda). Three years later he joined the Artevino Group at the head of the wineries in Castilla y León: Finca Villacreces (DO Ribera de Duero) and Bodegas Vetus (DO Toro).
In 2009 he returned to his homeland, La Rioja, to focus on the project of Bodegas Izadi and Bodegas Orben. Both are in the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) Rioja and belong to the same group, where he has obtained important international recognition.
Trained in Agricultural Engineering and Oenology at the University of La Rioja, at the end of his career he decided to opt for international experience, making wine in several countries such as Chile, Italy and New Zealand. He has a very interesting trajectory at the head of different wineries and has obtained international recognition throughout his career.
